The high quality and reliable metric and imperial threaded inserts for metal and wood applications are proven to be a market leader in OEM and MRO applications, small and large.
The E-ZLOKTM Metric, UNC and UNF Inserts for metal are a great alternative to traditional ‘wire thread inserts’, generically known as Helicoil. E-ZLOKTM external threads are standard size and pitch and with no special tooling required, the use of standard ‘Drills and Taps’ can be utilised to prepare the hole before installation of the Insert. E-ZLOKTM can be installed with a ‘flat blade’ screwdriver, ‘bolt/jam nut’ (except IC series) or optional ‘drive mandrel’. (Ideal for ‘high volume’ applications).
E-ZLOKTM will not ‘back out’ or vibrate loose. Immediately upon installation, microencapsulated adhesive begins to set and the newly installed inserts are fastener ready in 3-5 minutes (subject to parent material). The adhesive ‘seals’ against liquid gases up to 6,000 PSI when fully cured (72 Hours).
